Nice lightweight PJ bass body. The body was originally a MIM P bass that was sanded and finished with some kind of light oil. This was done by a previous owner and they did a very nice job. They finish is very smooth and satiny - a very 'natural' feel without being raw wood. The J pickup and electronics were professionally installed by Matt at 30th street guitars NYC. The bass is shielded, runs very quiet and the pickups work nicely together. Overall it is in used but good condition - has a nice 'broken in' vibe - no major dings but some small checking and finish wear. Sounded great when I was using it. The P pickup is the stock MIM pup that came with the bass. The Bridge pup is a Seymore Duncan hot stack hum cancelling. Bridge is hipshot vintage. It is ready to go - just needs a neck.
