Fender Reggie Hamilton Bass Neck .. Loaded!! .. $200 shipped!!

I purchased this neck used from on here a few months ago, but it had too loose of a fit in the neck pocket of the body I had intended it for (VM F/L Jazz) ... the body has since gone down the road, and I have been hanging onto the neck, just in case one I see/like comes along ... well, long story short, I am now in house cleaning/fund raising mode, and everything not being used is finding a new home ...

The good:
... this neck feels and looks fantastic, true vintage vibe with the 60's headstock logo and the deep vintage tint ... the vintage long stem reverse tuners are nice and tight, frets look good, nut is perfect, profile is VERY nice and back of neck flawless ...

The less than good:
... there are 3 VERY TINY screwdriver type indentations around the A string tuner bushing, like somebody tried to remove it at one point ...also, when I tried to mount the neck to the VM body, I noticed that one of the mounting holes was ever so slightly stripped, so that the screw did not get a good bite ... I do woodworking, so I plugged, drilled and tapped the hole, so should be good as new now ... also, the heel mounted truss rod nut seems to be tight ...it does loosen and move, so I am assuming that it may be maxed out (?) ... the good thing here, is that the neck is in a VERY slight back bow, so it should flatten nicely, and it should be no issue when strung, unless someone is using an extra ordinarily high tension string ...

This really is a very nice neck, I just wanted to make sure in the interest of full disclosure these things were mentioned (unlike the person I got it from that said everything is perfect ) ... BTW, the Reggie neck comes from the factory with a drop D tuner on the E string, but that was changed out somewhere along the line for an identical match vintage tuner like the rest (I have seen these tuners on Ebay for $50-75 regularly), which I prefer anyhow ...

I am unable to load pictures on here, but I do have some available if you would like to PM me your Email address I would be glad to get them off to you ... I had intended to just link the ad that I had purchased it from for pics, but it seems that ad was deleted (?) ... I am looking for $200 shipped for the neck anywhere in the lower 48, paypal is fine and preferred ... thank you!!

**It should also be noted, that this neck is one of the few Fender vintage style logo necks with the regular Fender 9.5" radius board ... most, like the Classic Series 60's Jazz, etc use the smaller 7.25" radius ...

You should bring this to the MN TB GTG on the 25th. I'd love to have a look at it.

... ok, she is definitely on hold ... I matched her up with a Classic Series 60's Jazz body and WOW!! ... strung with fairly high tension new Chromes, and the truss rod was no issue, perfect with just a tinge of relief with low action, and the neck plug/tap repair worked perfect, nice and tight ... the only issue now is I put the neck (only 2.5 lbs loaded) on a body that is 6.5 lbs, and now I have a 9 lb bass (exact) ... I dont like over 8#, but bottom line, is this neck isnt going anywhere for now ... I dont think I could replace it for anywhere close to 2 bills ... thanks for looking, sorry for any inconvenience
