Every so often when I clean my den, I grab a few more remnants of my bass playing days and let them go. While making room for our new treadmill, I came across some gems from the "good old days".
What you see below is....
Nylon DigiTech bag with one large compartment and a smaller zip pocket on the front. I am not sure what exactly it was made for. I used it to store the other stuff in the picture. The bag has some dust and little scuff marks on the bottom, but no rips or stains. It does have carrying handles, but no shoulder strap.
Next you'll see a
Pocket Rock-it STD for Bass model from CB Labs, now known as C-Tech. It plugs right into your bass with a rotating and adjustable input jack. This one is about 10 years old, and works perfectly. As you can see, it looks nothing like the fancy new ones on the CB website. Amazingly, here is a link to the owners manual for mine:
Pocket Rock-It Owners Manual. You will need to add the headphones. It does not come with any of the adapters or cables listed in the owners manual.
Moving on....a
blue instrument cable custom made by fellow TB'er fretlessrock. I never really got into music enough to know the difference in sound quality with cables, but I sure thought I was the shiz when I broke out the custom cable made just for me. Either way, it is a great cable made from good quality parts, not cheap. Length is about 25'.
Lastly, a glorious
black speaker cable also made by fretlessrock. I ran it from my amp to my speaker cabinet when I used it. Another high quality cable. Length is about 5'.
Does everything work? Yes it sure does. I just tested it all. You will need your own battery for the headphone amp though.
So is this stuff
really free? It sure is, you don't even have to pay shipping. In the eight years I have been a part of TalkBass, I have received much more from you all. So every so often I post up one of these threads as my way of giving back a little bit.
Rules....you knew this was coming. The free items are ONLY for Supporting Members. So hey, just one rule. PM me if you want it. I reserve the right to "choose" who I give it to. None of this "I replied first", or "dibs" BS. Oh...one more rule.....please only take these items if you will use them. Don't take them and then sell it on eBay or let it waste away in your den too.
