Fretless neck for Fender P or J Bass - loaded $120 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
Sell or swap for Fender fretted neck!! (+/-) cash from me

I just got this with a pile of gear swapped locally and don't really need it. Squier Standard Series fretless (may have had the frets removed) in good but not perfect shape. Straight, nice tuners and nut.

Comes loaded with open gear tuners, nut, neck plate and screws and string tree.

This is a later model, very thin "C" neck with the newer rounded edges...plays great.

Truss rod works smooth, and the neck is straight....has orig adjusting tools

This is a Precision Bass neck, but it is a narrower 1.5" Jazz Bass nut width.

$120 loaded shipped to ya....or $90 w/o hardware shipped.

Is the truss rod adjustment at the headstock?
How thick is the neck at the 1st fret?
thanks.

The nut is actually a bit less than 1.5"...and it measures exactly 1.5" at the first fret marker. This feels like a thinline Jazz neck...but the headstock says Precision Standard.

The heel is standard Fender 2 1/2"...should bolt right on to the Geddy (although I'm sure you'd wanna remove the Squier logo when installing it on a Geddy

Any idea if it stays straight under load? My Squier VM Jazz fretless neck can't get straight under load

Its currently on a bass....and it works very well...I see no problem with it at all. Its actually a very good feeling neck for not a lot of money.

Denny, that rounded edge neck looks really nice! Folks, Denny is great to deal with. If he says it's a good neck, believe it! Wish I could justify it. I am intrigued lately with the idea if fretless P-bass. Sounds great in a jazz setting from clips I have seen on YouTube.

Fretless neck - $120 shipped

Hi,
I'm interested in this neck. It looks like the truss rod adjustment is near the nut rather than at the heel of the neck. Am I right about that?
thanks,
John

Correctomongo John...its a standard Squier Precision Bass Special neck with the adjustment on top.
