I have three basses with 3 1-5/8" necks
and this odd-man-out and I am never selling the L2KE Hog body I have so I am not worried about resale (and I am Gassing
for a Strymon El Capistan)
In the pics I tried to get the checking clearly photographed
pic#9 is to show that the truss rod isn't chewed, it turns smoothly
pic#10 is to show the ?extra holes? (maybe unfilled holes that steady the neck during production?) and that the third bolt which is closest to the bridge needs a little wood building up as the screw spins slightly when used also there is a small hairline running from this hole up to the end of the truss rod in the pocket.
the last 4 pics are to show you that the frets are low
the last owner used flats to increase fret lifespan.
There is a little bit of a ski jump but it doesn't affect me as I play aggro w a pick and I like a little relief.
