I have 2 SX necks, one is a fretless and the other is a vintage tint with the headstock sanded.
All maple with sanded headstock - SOLD
I got this one off of Ebay, I paid $78.
The fretless one is a rosewood board - SOLD
This is a stock one.

I thought the decals was under a clear coat that was under the vintage tint? You'd think when the headstock was sanded, the vintage tint would have came off?

Steve | No I didn't sand the headstock, I bought it on Ebay that way. The tint is gone, that is the picture he posted. It looks like Rondo sold these neck to someone, since he lists them every day. I'll take some pictures of it, looks like he did it with a power tool, very clean. So no tint on the hs makes it look, umm, weird. |
