FS: 24-fret lined FRETLESS Moses graphite neck (fits EBMM 4-Str)

Sign in to disble this ad
FS: 24-fret lined FRETLESS Moses graphite neck (fits Musicman 4-Str) loaded with black Schaller tuners.

This neck was last mounted on a 1990's Ibanez ATK, where it resonated and mwah'd like nothing else. This neck features the resin-infused black-stained wood fingerboard, which looks quite sharp. The back of the headstock is also finished with the same wood. The shape of the neck is wide and very flat, and it's a dream to play, especially for someone who doesn't like "chunky" necks. It comes loaded with black Schaller tuners.

The neck has a couple non-structural hairline cracks that do not affect tone or playability - apparently these can be quite common on Moses necks. One is on the headstock between two tuner holes, and the other is on the side and end of the heel.

The heel of the neck appears to have 2 sets of threaded brass mounting holes installed. There are four aligned to fit my ATK body, then there is an overlapping set that were most likely used for mounting on an EBMM Stingray body. I've never mounted this neck on anything other than the ATK, so I can't say with certainty that the second set of holes will fit your EBMM body, but I can trace the outline to scale for your reference if interested.

I'm asking $200 $175 shipped CONUS. I'll ship to Canada if the buyer covers shipping costs over $15.

This used to be mine. Nice neck! The other set of threaded holes are indeed for an EBMM Stingray.

Would this fit a bass that has the bridge positioned for a 24 fret neck? I have a Fender jazz 24 that I need a neck for and I cannot find one anywhere.

I know that this neck (and any MM neck) fits a Fender neck pocket perfectly, but the scale length would be an inch off on a standard Fender bass--not sure about the 24 fret version. Hope this helps.

I am very interested in this neck but need to do a little more research to be able to tell if this would fit to the scale of the bass I have. My concern is that I am not sure how the fingerboard extension affects the total distance from bridge to nut.

It has been attached to a 1990's ATK body since it's been in my posession.
