FS: '62 Precision Body, Nitro Sunburst

Here's something you don't see every day. I hate to let this go, but I've been shifting to mainly short scales lately, and I'm unloading some of my 34" stuff.

This is a 2-piece swamp ash body from USA Custom Guitars, finished in thin nitro lacquer, 60's sunburst. I had them route the pickup flipped. The end result is the D and G strings have more bottom and the E and A strings are punchier. The tone is more even across strings vs. the traditional P design.

The pickup is a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 (my favorite for vintage tone). The cavities have been properly shielding so it is VERY quiet.

Custom 4-ply pickguard from Pickguardian. Vintage style threaded-barrel bridge, CTS 250K pots, Orange Drop cap, Switchcraft jack. My scale is broken so I don't have an exact weight, but it is not heavy. The complete bass when built was 8.4 pounds.

I have almost $600 in parts on this beauty. And if you know anything about me you know it was built right. I put lots of TLC into it. It's seen some play time, but it is in excellent shape. Only one chip by the neck pocket.

$480 shipped in the lower 48 states. No trades, no international shipping. Price is firm.

Bumpin' a nice body that I wish I could buy.

One question please.....
"I had them route the pickup flipped. The end result is the D and G strings have more bottom and the E and A strings are punchier. The tone is more even across strings vs. the traditional P design".

Could you post a pic of the route?

thanks

Don't really feel like unscrewing all the pickguard screws and screwing them back in. Just picture a Warmoth P body, but with the P route reversed.
