I don't believe the 6550's will work in the Mesa/Boogie 400+, If I'm not mistaken, the 400+ uses 6L6's

While the manual calls for 6550WD (small base) I've talked to guys here who've run the JJ and others.
Not sure if that required removing or changing bear-traps tho.
