FS/72' Fender Jazz body(ash)
 

I'm selling a great Fender J body, it does have lots of checking and player wear but no major hits or dings. Weights 5.38. Comes with original shielding plates and bridge ground wire. $650 obo shipped.

Just curious , what makes it a 72? or should I say how can one tell for sure?

When I bought it off ebay the discription said it was a 72, there are markings in the neck pocket, I can't tell what they say.

You count the number of rings in the grain.
