This has:
Vol/blend stacked
Bass filter stacked
High/Mid filter stacked
Passive tone
2 pickup version

sexy! Mine doesn't even have the passive tone, and it's absolutely fantastic. More tones than you know what to do with!

how come the battery clip is "wired" to 5 wires?! ;-)

It isn't. Those are the wires that go from the jack to the preamp. Bundled together for the pic.

No soldering is required on the preamp. Small screws secure these wires.
