I have recently taken this out of my Stingray to get it back to a more natural sound. This pre is great. It is the loudest thing I have ever heard and gets a very nice scooped tone with the mid-selector.

It is the model with 3 separate pots for EQ and the mid-selector is push/pull.

Sorry for the cell phones pics. It was all I can get to work right now.

5 pots total or 4? I only see 4 in the picture.

Hard to tell from the pic, but will the pots fit through a body top, not just a control plate? If so... I'm thinking hard!

That is maybe the worst picture I have ever taken. The stems on the pots seam to be long enough. I had to use a spacer on my Stingray because they stuck out a little too far.

It is only 4 pots. You can add the 5th(for a blend) if you want I believe, but I never had a use for it.

I'm waiting on the arrival of a bass that may or may not require it. Was kind of playing the "If the pre is sold by the time it shows up, it wasn't meant to be" game.

It's a killer deal, that's for sure!

But yes, still thinking hard! Trying off some other gear, too. Need 4 string J pickups?

All my basses, other than the StingRay, are 6ers
