FS: Alembic jazz pickups and Alembic filter preamp

Sign in to disble this ad
[b]!!SOLD!!

For sale is a set of Alembic jazz pickups with preamplifier. These are plug and play installation so no soldering required.

The controls are v,v, filter for the jazz bass purist and there is a trim pot inside to tweak the filter. This model is no longer made in that the control configuration was changed to volume, pan, filter. The current model costs over $1k.

This set is in great condition and was just removed from a mutt jazz bass. Original listing with some pics here:

FS: MIJ Tokai Jazzy Sound with Alembic PUs and pre, Fernandes MIJ Neck

Pics below showing these installed in a Tokai jazz bass (from which they were just taken out) and taken out of the bass. I am also including the bolts, washer, pickup screws and a grounding matt for each pickup.

Asking $SOLD or best offer shipped and trust me, these are worth every penny, but best offers are also welcome.

Thanks.

RBM

BUMP for pics just posted. Best offers welcome. Would also consider trading for an all stock bass of equal value, and I would even trade up for the right bass. PM me with any offers for cash or trade.

Thanks!

Very cool! Are the pickups both the same size?

Nope- the bridge is slightly longer, so it is a proper Jazz set!

The bass pictured is true to Fender specs and no routing was done to accommodate either pickup.

BUMP for a price drop. Also, will consider best offers and trades offers for cool basses of similar value are welcome.

This electronics set up will cost you $1050 new from Alembic so this is a great deal.

These are in great shape and a dawdle to install. You literally just plug and play. No cutting, drilling or soldering. Get the classic Alembic tone in your Jazz bass at a mere fraction of the price.

Thanks!

No, not interested in pickups. If I am keeping spare pickups around, I am keeping these!

Thanks again.
