It's off the market for now. The badass works as advertised, I'm just indecisive about which bridge I like better... If I decide to sell, Syco_bass gets it first if he still wants it. Whoopy you are second in line. I'm going to replace the preamp in the bass first, and then decide.
Long story:
I got this bass with both the badass and the original bridge. I tried them both out, and I thought I liked the rounder vintagey sound/feel of the original better, so I put the badass up for sale.
Syco_bass said he wanted it and would pay the next day. I said OK, but then I listened again and thought that maybe the badass was more appropriate for the sound I'm looking for. Syco was just about to pay when I got cold feet and said I might want to keep it (my bad on changing my mind, sorry Syco...).
So since the preamp will be a week or so getting here, I'll close this thread.
I'll update both of you when I've had a chance to listen to it with the preamp (a John East U-Retro Deluxe FWIW).
