The badder monkey is made to just be a bad monkey with better bass response, so they are pretty darn similar Mine was modded to sound darker than usual and it's awesome

I'm sure you can youtube some clips, most pedals have demos on there.

Friday bump. Great pedal that preserves your lows with good smooth to square wave overdrive. Less tan 1 month old. The recent acquisition of an Aguilar AGRO makes the pedal redundant for me.
