FS: Bartolini NTMB 5.3 A/P preamp - Price Drop!

I have a Bartolini NTMB 5.3 A/P preamp for sale here. This is the one with two volumes, treble, mids, bass, and the three-way mid selector switch.

I bought this about two weeks ago from Bestbassgear.com and had it matched with the Bartolini DC's that are in the bass now. Sounds great, but I've since decided to go a different direction with pickups, so I'm going a different direction with the preamp as well.

It's in perfect working order, but I did have to cut and reattach a few wires to make it work with my bass and output jack (since my bass has a Neutrik jack). I disconnected the stock jack from the preamp out, the battery wire, and the ground wire. I can reattach them to the stock jack or let you handle it. Bartolini also "chain grounds" all of the pots together and I have extended the distance between the pots by cutting this wire and adding extra wire so that the pots are all still grounded but there's more flexibility in how far apart the pots are in your control cavity. This change hasn't affected the sound at all.

I should emphasize that none of the wires that connect the preamp to the pots have been altered in any way. This preamp still functions as it did the day I got it.

I bought this preamp for $150, and I'd be happy to sell it for $100 shipped.

I can take pictures of it as soon as I have it out of my bass - probably tomorrow.

For anyone that would rather have the single volume control/ blend combination, I've found that I can get a better blend of the pickups with two volumes than a blend pot.

This also has active/passive on one of the volume knobs.
