FS Bartolini P2 Soapbar Bass Pickups

Sign in to disble this ad
I have some brand new Bartolini P2 pickups for sale. I received these from Pete Hanewinckel in exchange for his handwound dual-coils I returned to him. I'm pretty sure the P2 pickups are dual-coil because Pete said they could be used with the In/Out Switch that came on my bass. I need to sell these so I can afford to put some Nordy Big Singles in my bass. That's the tone I'm after from my bass.

The pickups are both 4.25" x 1.25".

I'm asking for $75 each or $140 for both including shipping in the U.S. Let me know if you have any questions.

5-string.

EDIT: On a side note, Pete says the model numbers are inscribed on the back of the pickups. I know the numbers on the two pickups aren't exactly the same, but I can post the model numbers here later if anybody is interested.

the 76 is max string spacing
the P2 is the pup shape
the 32 relates to screw hole spacing

Tom, thanks a lot for the explanation.

EDIT: So, for a 5-string with 3/4" string spacing at the bridge, the 76 should probably be used in the bridge position while the 74 would be used in the neck position.
