I ordered these right before scoring a killer parts bass with the same pups. They sound AWESOME and live up to the hype!! I just don't need a second set.

I've never directly compared these with the Fender 62 RI pups. I had those in a Peavey Fury and thought they sounded great, but I was using a different bass, different strings, and different amp then.
I'm really digging the P-46s now. Perhaps a bit wider frequency response ... but that's just a guess and perhaps more what I've read than heard (since I never A/B'd them).
