I did use the PBR-1 for about 8 months and it is an extremely pro piece of electronics - I just prefer passive (again!). I will include some of the special batteries that go with this (it uses disk shaped batteries) I left some wire exposed at the connection points for the board and left the black sleeve on the ground.
