FS: Custom 4-string fretless neck

Sign in to disble this ad
This here is a fretless neck I bought on a lark from a very fine local luthier named John Warden. If you are unfamiliar with this man’s work, you should learn who he is. He has done all kinds of work for some heavyweights. The Tele-esque headstock is his signature.

I’m not a fretless player, and have my hands full with what I play already. It is maple/ebony with a phenolic nut, lightly used when I bought it. It is very clean, with only a couple of minor nicks on the front side of the headstock.

Dimension at heel: 2-7/16”+ (just a hair more)
Dimension at nut: 1-17/32”
Thickness at 5th fret: 13/16”
Fingerboard extends slightly beyond heel.

Includes 4 Schaller BML Lite tuners in black, of the original variety, made with all-boron metal housings. Now they put aluminum in them. String tree included.

$150.00, shipped. You will regard this as a steal, a very sweet neck.

Fender pocket is 2-1/2", so this one is a shade smaller, but workable.
