FS: Custom J Bass Body

Gorgeous 2-piece swamp ash J body, sanded and ready for finish. It is slightly downsized, essentially the same shape as the Warmoth dinky J. Standard size J pickup routes. The pickups are closer together than a standard J. The neck pickup is 1/4" closer to the bridge, and the bridge pickup is 1/4" closer to the neck. So the end result is a tighter punchier tone. Something between a Jazz and Warwick Thumb. Standard 5-hole Fender bridge holes. 7/8" side jack. Standard Fender neck pocket.

My scale is broken, but it is definitely not heavy. Feels very light.

$130 shipped in the lower 48 states. No trades, no international shipping. Price is firm.

You'd have to make your own pickguard, maybe with a warmoth blank, but here is plenty of room on a stanadrd sized blank guard to make it work.If anyone had a mind to make a 3 p.u. jazz this would be the ticket.
