I'm selling my only 5-string bass, so I no longer need these strings. They are "super" long scale, "regular light gauge" (45-65-80-100-132) and are great for
low-action, light touch jazz,
fretless,
Motown,
blues, and
REALLY perfect for studio recording. I have a similar set that reside permanently on my 4-string fretless bass, but never got around to trying these on my 5-string bass, i.e. they are
new, unopened, pristine and sterile, like a preserved moose. Don't even point at them... but I digress from my Spinal Tap hallucination.
They are USA-made,
last a long time and are
very full & rich sounding but still with clarity and
plenty of "mwah" (my 4-string set on my fretless). These are definitely NOT muddy-sounding in any way.
The 5-string set costs $40 (+tax) new at GC.
The 21 D'Addario "Players Points" label is still unredeemed on the back of the package... Save up and get yourself a cap, lanyard, mug, t-shirt and there ya go! See this site:

I'm selling these for
$28 shipped to CONUS, i.e. >25% less than GC! Payment via PayPal. Check out my feedback. You'll have no problems...
Thanks,
Asher
