dbx 166xl

Hi,
I am interested in it. How old is it. How do you like it compared to any other dbx compressors for bass. I'll PM you in just a minute.

Thanks,

Dave

Hey Dave,
I bought new in December 2007 so it less than a year and a half old. I have not tried any other dbx compressors. You can dial in as subtle or over-the-top compression as you like with this unit. I mainly used it for subtle peak limiting--taking my loudest points down 2-4 db at most. Sounds transparent to my ears.

I've had this compressor for about 5 months and I love it. Good luck!
