Hey all, time to unload the stuff I'm just not using... Let me know if you want more info or pictures. If you have any trades in mind, let me know.

If you want to see larger images, check here: http://sumitdas.net/TB_sale_pics/

Still available: Sadowsky hum canceling pickups, Head Case, MIDI Express XT, Patchbay.

Sadowsky 5-string J hum canceling pickups - $105 + shipping
Excellent condition, with nice long leads. Took them out of my NYC vintage. Totally hum-free of course. Somewhat more scooped and hi-fi than the single coils, with even more glassy highs and thick lows. String spacing 19mm at the bridge, I believe they do not fit standard Fender 5-strings. Includes mounting screws.

Aguilar 3 space Head Case, classic black - $75 + shipping
Heavy duty 3 space rack case with one handle and rubber feet, perfect for the DB750. Good condition, some slight cosmetic marking.

Mark Of The Unicorn MIDI Express XT - $25 + shipping
PC/Mac MIDI interface, 8 MIDI ports (128 channels). Parallel/Serial version, NOT the USB version. It also works with the older Macs with a mini-DIN 8 serial port.
Excellent condition, comes with PC and Mac manuals. I believe I also have the parallel and serial cables.

Furman PB-40 Patch Bay - $20 + shipping
20 channel 1/4" patch bay
Good condition, I haven't used it for a while so the contacts may need cleaning. Half normalled, so you can mult out on the top jack on the face. If you plug into the bottom jack on the face you denormal the routing.

==================================================

Akai Deep Impact SB1 Bass Synth pedal - $510 + shipping Sold!!!
Excellent condition, original DC adapter, velcro on bottom, I have the rubber foot pads if you want them. This is an awesome pedal, I just don't think synth pedals are my thing...

Akai Unibass UB1 pedal - $250 + shipping TRADED!!!
Gives you a clean/dirty octave up, can also do octave+fifth or fourth up, simulating a guitarist playing power chords in unison with you. Perfect for a three piece when the guitarist is soloing. Sounds good through your bass amp. If you use the extra effect out to send the effect only through a separate guitar amp, it sounds amazing!
Excellent condition, velcro on bottom, I have the rubber foot pads if you want them. I wouldn't mind if this didn't sell.

Sadowsky 5-string J single coil pickups - $170 + shipping Sold!!!
Like new condition, I just got them and soldered them in and out, didn't cut the leads. Aggressive and raw cut-through-the-mix sound with a lo-mid bump, lots of high mids and airy highs, very dynamic sounding. These are the ultimate J-style pickup for many people, just not for me... String spacing 19mm at the bridge, I believe they do not fit standard Fender 5-strings. Includes mounting screws.

Bartolini 6-string soapbar P4K (I think) pickups - $100 + shipping Sold!!!
Good condition, have the usual marks (not scratches) where they were covered for years by the strings.
96P46K-B (neck)
96P46K-T (bridge)
These are classic high-end Barts - warm and rich chocolatey smooth sound with thick lows and smooth extended highs. Very balanced sounding. They are P4's, and the K indicates that they are the brighter version (a good thing with Barts, which tend to run a bit dark).
They measure 4.65" X 1.25"., with no pole pieces so they will work with any string spacing (or any number of strings!). Includes mounting screws.
If you want I can also throw in a possibly faulty Bartolini XTCT preamp (vol/balance/lo/mid/hi) with fully wired harness, pots, knobs, washers, etc.

Both the Unibass and the Deep Impact just take a standard 9 volt power supply. I can't find the original for the Unibass, but I'll include one that works.

I've actually been powering both of them off a Visual Sound 1 Spot with no problems.

The Barts are currently on hold, I should know for sure later today...

Postage to Ontario is probably between $5.00 and $10.00 USD. If they don't go to the currently interested party, I'll get more specific info for you.

Sadowsky Pups

Hmm, I'd like to try the Sadowsky's in my USA Jazz Deluxe 5-string. Why won't they fit do you think? Any info on these where I could tell for certain?

It's been years since I played a Fender 5-string, but I'm pretty sure the Sadowsky string spacing is wider at the bridge.

Ah yes... Here's the quote from the Sadowsky website:
Quote:
Note: Sadowsky J-Bass 5-string pickups are both the same size as a bridge position 4-string pickup. They are intended for 3/4" (19mm) string spacing at the bridge. They DO NOT fit Fender 5-string basses.
If your bass has the matching string spacing, it might work. Of course I don't know if the pickup widths are different...

If it helps, the Sadowsky string spacing and pickup widths are exact drop-in replacements for the Nordstrand NJ series, if you've ever tried those.

I'll have to measure when I get home, but as I've mentioned before, the string spacing does NOT match 5-string Fenders, so it might not match your Squier's either.

Here's what I know (from the Sadowsky site):
Sadowsky J-Bass 5-string pickups are both the same size as a bridge position 4-string pickup. They are intended for 3/4" (19mm) string spacing at the bridge. The 4-string pickups are direct replacement for J-bass pickups.

I'll get you the measurements tonight, but in addition to routing, you may have to change your bridge so that the string spacing works out. Make sure you are OK with a 3/4" spacing at the bridge.

Since they are hum canceling, they are also quite deep (top to bottom), so I'll measure that too, in case your rout is not deep enough.

Ya let me know - the squier's are oddballs. It's a 4 string sized pup on a 19mm spaced body. I think it might actually work. Let me know

They measure: 3 11/16" X 11/16"

And they are almost exactly 1" deep including the magnet that juts out of the bottom.
