The DELANO PC series offers a range of different transducer designs in the familiar Precison Bass™ pickup shape.They are direct retrofit units and can be installed in any electric bass that is outfitted with a P-bass™ style pickup cavity.
Since its invention in 1957, the splitcoil P-Bass™ pickup is the proven industry standard of electric bass transducers. Its basic design was not substantially altered visually since, but tone-wise, the changes are definitly audible. The alnico PC4 AL is our tribute to lovers of classy vintage P-bass™ tone. We carefully morphed the great "oomph" and greasy swamp bottom late 50ies to early 60ies pickups are famous four with the grinding wire attitude of ´68 to´73 examples and then added a slight DELANO twist to enhance dynamics and articulation.
