OK, so everyone wants to know "what's the deal with the thru jack, and are there any other differences between this model and later models?"
On the later ones that have a thru jack, that jack is just a hardwired direct connection to the input. It's exactly the same as using a Y cable from your bass, or using a typical passive ABY box. The signal from the thru jack is just your original bass signal, nothing more nor less, not buffered or isolated or tubified. That jack is the
only difference between this one and the later ones. A-Designs will install the thru jack if you want, but they are quick to point out that you'll get the same results for less money just by using a Y cable or ABY box.
