Cool FS: EBMM Stingray Pickup. Stock MM pup. Excellent Condition

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a stock EBMM Stingray Pickup pulled right from the source itself. This pickup is in excellent condition with long leads. Works perfectly and the original cover is there too.

The original Ray pickup is still my favorite MM pickup after trying those out there. It’s what makes a Stingray have it’s unique sound, the punchy full sounds with a unique growl makes for a great pup. It’s hard to go wrong with such a tried and true thing.

Dr. Dimento’s TB review of this pickup can be found here.

Find the rest of this his MM review thread here.

I really have no reason to keep this any more, as I no longer have a 4 banger to put it in. An interesting niggle is that Ernie Ball won’t sell you these pickups from the factory nor to stores stock them as well. So, you don’t see much of these around, and they are only available on the used market (when they show up).
I’m asking $75 plus $6.85 shipping. I'm willing to ship to Canada and likely other countries as well.

PM me or email at erdawe@yahoo.com
I try my best to describe my items, but I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for looking!

Does this have the flat topped poles with sharp edges or the newer round topped poles? It looks like the newer round poles which they started using in 2003.

Thanks for pointing this out, I had forgotten about it. I had one I already sold to a friend w/ the sharp edges. So now I'm selling this one w/ the round edges.

So yes that places this pickup after 2003. Still sounds great! Again, thanks bdgotoh for helping point this out.
