A unique pedal! The ehx Germ OD provides a very warm, natural sounding overdrive, but has a wide gain range and can also do harsh germanium clipping - it also has the unique feature of bias and voltage controls on top, which not only make it useable with active as well as passive basses, but also allow you to dial in a whole range of distinctive clipping shapes, including extreme "dead battery" voltage sag effects.
The germanium OD is VERY bass friendly! The only settings I could find which resulted in loss of low end were extreme, low voltage "sound effect" settings. The OD itself is bass friendly up and down the dial!
The pedal is in perfect shape - like new except for velcro on the bottom. The rubber feet (detached) are included. The original box is also unblemished, and the instruction card, demo CD, and ehx brochure are all present and accounted for.
