FS: Fender 62RI pickups

Sign in to disble this ad
These came out of a Japanese 62 RI fender that was an 80's model.

I originally purchased these used and there was a very loud hum when wired to the guitar. Turns out that was a wiring problem (don't know why). I replaced all of the lead wire on the pickups and the hum was gone.

However... The tone is too "vintage" for my tastes. I much prefer the more hi-fi pickups that came stock in my MIM Fender P.

I will guarantee these pickups to work properly. I will not guarantee that you will like "vintage" tone.
