SCN....

Do the SCN's have to be used in an "active" install?
Never thought about trying these passive.

As far as I know, they are just passive pickups and should work just fine in a passive application.

SCN pickups are perfectly fine in passive. I own them and use them as such (if I flip that switch on my Pre).
