For sale is an old Fender Prodigy bass body in dark red - burgundy/midnight wine. The color is darker than it appears with the flash in the pictures, sorry.
P/J routing configuration, two pot holes, side mounted jack, standard fender bridge holes. According to the information I found, it should be made of alder, and it feels like a normal weight.
Body is in decent condition - there are little chips and scrapes, and a couple of larger spots of damage, but they are mainly finish damage and the body is structurally fine. Consider it a head start on a refinish! The pics should show all the interesting areas.
I haven't seen too many of these around. I never ended up using this in the project I had in mind, so I've never mounted a neck on it or wired pickups, but it has a standard Fender neck pocket.
