FS: Fender Squier '77 Jazz Bass Body

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Squier 77 Jazz Bass body in great condition. Only a few minor scuffs on the pickguard. Body is flawless. The "Duncan Designed" pickups actually sound really, really good. Total weight is 5.8 pounds.

$99 shipped in the lower 48 states. (Sorry, no trades or international shipping.)

Hey Dan, how do the DD pickups stack up against the other 4 pickups you have audio clips of on your website? Any chance of adding the DD jazz to your audio library?

They sound surprisingly good. Nice vintage tone similar to the Seymour Duncan SJB-1 set.

What is the wood? Are the cavities shielded?

Agathis. It's not a pretty wood, but it sounds fine. Heck, I recently posted a thread that proved a $3 chunk of Home Depot lumber can sound good.

I think the cavities are shielded, but I'll need to take a peek inside tonight to find out.
