FS/FT: 2 bodies, 3 necks, 2 project basses

Sign in to disble this ad
4 necks, 3 bodies, and 1 neck/body project. All prices plus shipping ($15-$35 in the US depending on item and location.)

I have a want list here http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showth...560&highlight=

and a parts sale/trade thread too: Joe's Parts List - necks decals pickups bridges hardware straps (overseas ok)

5 Necks (all rosewood on maple except the last one.)

TRADED $90 - Squier Deluxe p bass neck - (Deluxe are the nicer squier precisions with jazz width nuts.) includes tuners and nut.

TRADED $45 - Squier Deluxe p bass neck - Defretted, No tuners or nut but the parts are perfectly interchangeable with the above neck. $125 for both the above necks. Great as a pair of interchangeable fretted/fretless necks. FS/FT: Warmoth Project bass, necks, hardcases

$60 - Regular Squier P bass neck - precision sized nut, decal removed. No tuners but has a nut.

$125 - Warmoth neck from project bass - last 4 frets removed from neck and sanded. The body is no longer available but the neck info and pics are here: FS/FT: Warmoth Project bass, necks, hardcases

$140 - Warmoth neck with altered high fret access heel and custom headstock. Ebony fretboard on maple neck

3 bodies:

$65 - Black Musicman copy body - OLP? - Partially stripped black finish mostly covered by pick guard. Includes only strap pins.

SOLD $125 - 70s Yellowed Olympic White Japanese Jazz Bass copy loaded body. Complete except some pick guard and pickup sscrews. Just add a neck. Needs electronics work (unsure whether its pots or pickups.)

TRADED $160 - 80s White MIJ Fender Jazz bass special (like Duff McKagen Signature.) Only includes body and backplate.

1 project bass

$200 Spector Legend neck and spector body only. Includes truss cover, nut, neck bolts, and back control plate. Abalone inlays (american spector-like) were glued to the fretboard. Looks ok from a few feet but upon close inspection they did an amateur job of gluing the inlays. Most likely removable but I am going to leave them on for the next owner to decide. They could be seen as attractive. I had tuners, bridge and strings on it and it plays beautifully.

Wilol get pics of the spector this weekend.

For the yellowed olympic white body

according to this post Fender 60's vs. 70's Jazz Pickup Spacing it has 70s pickup spacing (4 inches between pickups.)

Not sure of the brand. Not sure of the weight but I'd put it around average for a jazz body. Maybe 5 lbs or 5.5.

I will try to get pics up this weekend.

Thanks,
Joe

I am not sure what you are asking but it is rear routed with no pickguard and has enough room to accommodate an active setup. Just so you know it has a PJ setup.

It is 4 bolts and has a microtilt setup on it (though it doesn't have to be used.)

I think I said this but all it has is the body and the backplate with screws.

Is the PJ body basswood like a lot of the MIJ's were in that time?
