FS/FT: 3 sets New, Unopened D'Addario XL160 bass strings.

Sign in to disble this ad
Final price drop. $35 PayPal.

Bought these thinking I'd like a slightly heavier guage. I don't.

I have 3 unopened sets in the SL (super long) length but should be fine on most 34 scale basses (especially if you string through the body).

I am mostly interested in trading for XL170 or XL170SL sets.
Got other stuff for trade? Hit me.

Otherwise, $35 shipped for all three sets in the ConUs.

Thanks.

At this point I'll have to pass. The one strap that's worked for me I've had since the mid 80's. I've tried others (including one that looked very similar in design to yours), but keep coming back to mine. About ten years ago I stumbled across another. I couldn't pay for it fast enough.
Sorry, but thanks anyway.

$15. Otherwise it's not worth the shipping cost.

I'm not sure anyone makes a set like that.
A .040-G string would be pretty light for a set with a .105-E.
Maybe.

These (XL160 sets) are considered their "medium" gauge at:
.050, .070, .085, .105

I've gone back to the XL170 sets which are their "light" gauge:
.045, .065, .080, .100

I understand. It's just that a 40-105 set (which you had specifcally asked) would be a weird guage extreme within one set.
Usually a set with a .040 G is going to graduate to a .095 or .100 E at the largest.
