FS/FT Bartolini Jazz bass pickups 4-string

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a set of Bartolini Jazz bass pickups I have put in my 75 Jazz bass, I want to either sell them out right or trade them for a set of EMG's, Seymour Duncans, or Aero (spelling?). Price is $100.00 FIRM, they are in great cosmetic condition. Feel free to call me if you have a question at 615-594-1595

Are these passive pups? I have a set of active emg's in a early '80s jazz bass I just purchased.

x2 on the active or passive question and on the mother being ok.

Can you get me the measurements? I just pick up a Squire 5 string I want to change the pups on and I love me some Bart's.

Interested in a Morley Wah pedal?

Bartolini's are passive, until you attach them to an active pre in the bass. Bump for great pickups!

How would describe the sound?

I describe the sound first as "no noise" when one pickup is turned higher than another, like most Jazz Bass pickups. I can't stand that. These pickups are nice and bright, but warm at the same time. I can Jaco my sound when playing, and turn around and get a great full range when Slapping the bass. I believe these are the pickups that retail at $179.00, could be wrong, but I do not think so.
