EBS Black Label Octabass pedal

My on again/off again love affair with this pedal continues. I haven't been using it lately as I begin to turn to synthesizer for my suboctave needs. This is among he best tracking analog octavers, and certainly the most natural sounding. It can so synthy too, but it excels at natural-sounding suboctaves - try it with en envelope filter for that smooth funky feel.

In excellent condition (some paint has scratched off the textured surface, as tends to happen with these) in the original box with instruction sheet.

Asking just 99 shipped in the CONUS so snatch it up somebody!

I'd be happy to trade this for an EBS Black label unichorus - preferably the older, buffered version

I've never heard the Octabass, but the octaver in the Octavius squeezer sounds very natural to me-- How would you compare the two?

Well it tracks much better than the OS, for one thing. It is also smoother (at least in the "low" setting, which is recommended for bass) and of course is easier to blend dry and octave on the fly.

This is the octaver to get if you want to sound like you are playing a 5-stringer in your 4-string. It can also do "synthy" but still with a cleaner sound than an OC-2, for example.

Again?

Bump for a great pedal and a cool cat to deal with. Buy it; you'll love it.

it is an old one with the EBS buffer instead of true bypass.

if you've tried one of the pre-08 pedals you know that the buffer is superb and clean as can be

Totally agree. The old buffered ones are better in my opinion. If I needed a good octave I would be all over this.
