I am almost 6' and without shoes made it through standard 6'8" doorway without catching the top. Raised up my feet a couple of inches and hit the door frame. Probably is 6 to 8 inches above your head to top of bag.

Looks like the straps are attached high enough to where it wouldn't be crazy high above your head. Nice looking bag.
