The neck is SOLD, so now I'm parting the body out.

Fender MIM Factory Special Run body; alder with flame-maple top in cherryburst (back is trans. red, not burst). Not sure of the year, I believe it's 2001 or so. Has a pool route, otherwise I wouldn't have left on the pickguard. Can include strap buttons if needed. I stuck toothpicks or something in the strap holes when using straplocks. $200 + Shipping OBO

-| - |- Also available is a stock MIM bridge. Action screws could use some LokTite, but maybe you need a junker to relic. $7 shipped

SOLD!!! Loaded control plate $25 shipped
SOLD!!! Schecter 'Monster Tone' pickups. $25 shipped
SOLD!!! stock MIM pickups $15 shipped.
SOLD!!!Hipshot Vintage bridge. $50 shipped
SOLD!!!White pearloid pickguard. $13 shipped

Trades: I need a pair of Peavey T-40 pickups, mounting rings, and bridge. Or maybe a set of Darkstars. I'd also like an 8-string bass (octaved)... maybe you have a Brice or Rogue. Not interested in parts, per se, but run stuff by me and we'll see.

$200 + shipping, or best offer for this body. Only a couple of dings, nothing bad. You could build a killer bass out of this thing!

nice looking body....

You had mentioned something about putting toothpicks in the strap button holes.

1. Does this mean that you drilled two sets of different holes for the strap locks as well?
2. If so are the strap button holes exposed and showing on this body?

Sorry we only got a frontal view of the body. I would'nt have asked the question if there were a couple of other photos of the body. But based on your description, it sounds like you had actually drilled a seperate set of holes in addition to the ones that were already there.

Thanks,

Jazz

PMs responded, and to clarify about strap buttons:

Since straplocks use a smaller diameter screw, I stuck a toothpick into the upper-horn screw hole so the straplock screw could dig in. No extra holes were drilled. Sorry for the confusion! I'll have a couple pics in the next couple days if this doesn't sell.
