FS/FT: Loaded Fender Precision Neck

Sign in to disble this ad
I slapped a Jazz neck on my P bass, so here is the original:1995 MIM Fender with stock tuners and string tree. Neck is straight, lots of life in the frets, truss and everything is working as it should. Neck is just a little too beefy for me. 1 & 5/8" at the nut. There's a little gouge in one of the inlays on the 12th fret, it won't come out in the pictures though, there is also an additional set of tuner holes drilled from where I had Schallers (the holes are covered by the stock tuners now) There are a few dark spots on the wood on the back which you can see in the pics. Neck plays very well though; no issues on that front.

SOLD!!

Can't say for sure since I don't have an SX-4 around. But the heel is 2 & 7/16" wide. Can anyone verify if it'll fit an SX?

Fender bass necks are slightly narrower than SX.
SX is 2-1/2" at the end of the heel.
But it'll work. Probably have to fudge some holes.

I'm pretty good on parts for now. Thanks though. Just looking for a P bass body, either white or maybe dark blue.
