Ok, so I was going to try the Frankenbass route and I have decided that I have no idea where to begin...after all I am a bass player, not a bass mechanic. Paypal is ok.
I am a firm believer in full disclosure so I have listed everything with everything I know about it. If you have any other questions, please PM me.
Will consider trades for effects...just run them by me.
First up is a Spear Bass jazz neck...came off a bass I bought on TB. Neck is in very good shape...truss rod adjusts from the heel (Thanks Squarewave!). Comes with tuners which are actually pretty nice. The headstock is a little darker than most and looks really cool. I am now including the neck plate and screws with this neck. SOLD http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0014.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0015.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0016.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0017.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0009.jpg
Control Plate: I haven't hooked this up at all. The TBer I bought this from said the pots were a bit noisy so he sprayed them with cleaner and never had an issue again. He said these came off of a VM Squier. Includes knobs, pots, plate, screws and wires. SOLD http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSC_0007.jpg
Unknown Neck: I got this off of TB. Has a trussrod (I don't have the trussrod tool though). Seems pretty straight...I think it was new to the other TBer and I haven't used it on anything. Comes with tuners, but will need a string tree. SOLD
Unknown Body. Got this off of TB as well. I sanded it down, got most of the previous lacquer off of it...then I stained it with furniture stain and sprayed rattle can clear coat on it (only 1 coat). This is going to be a project for someone with a lot of time. When the stain was drying, some of it clumped on the plastic that it was sitting and some of the stain ran...you can see this in the pics. SOLD
Strap Pegs: Got this off of TB. They came off a MIM Fender I was told...not in tip top shiny condition but serve the purpose. SOLD
Duncan Design Pickups: Came out of a VM Squier. I bought these from another TBer as well. Cloth sheaths around wires...I haven't used them at all. SOLD to narud
SX 4 String Bridge- I got this from Grateful off of TB...he was nice enough to send this to me for free for a project I was trying to build for my father...I am offering it here for Free as well. Buyer pays shipping. Has some scratches on it but comes with screws. GONE! twocargar

I will also trade the control plate for a nice, wide PADDED bass strap....anything else, just let me know! Also need some straight pedal couplers. |
