FS/FT: Peavey Cirrus G-bass Preamp board

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Peavey G-Bass original preamp board (mine has been replaced with a newer Cirrus which I am quite happy with .

I have heard very good things about the original Cirrus 3-band board but mine came with the upgrade so I see no point in putting this back in it.

Anyway, this is a 3-band pre with vol/bass/mid/treble from what I can tell, with the pots integrated from the looks of things. I'd imagine you would only need to add knobs and wiring and all that jazz.

You can see the G bass manual here:
http://www.peavey.com/assets/literat...als/G-BASS.pdf

And here's a picture of the pre board:

This is a new subject to me so I appreciate any corrections! Really know jack or squat about onboard pre's unfortunately. I have never wired this up but the guy I bought it from originally assured me it worked. If it's DOA I will work something out with you (either a full or partial refund depending).

Cash: 50.00
Trade: Flexible. I could use all kinds of stuff and can throw cash in if needed.

Main interests: EHX Micro Pog, Pedal board, a cheapo p-bass, an Eminence 3012HO or Deltalite 2512 II long-xmax, etc.

One point I might add, since this came from a G-Bass, which is a Single Pickup Bass. There is no Blend Pot. the socket is there for it, but there was no need for one in the G-Bass...I'm not sure what would happen if this was wired into a 2 pickup bass. Probably stuck at 50/50 Blend.
