FS/FT: Vintage Grover "Wavy Titan" Tuners

Sign in to disble this ad
Set of four Grover tuners. I don't believe they make this type anymore. As you can see in the photos, they have a kinda cool "wavy" shape. 9/16" bushings.

According to the thread below, these tuners were used on B.C. Rich bases back in the 70s/80s, but I originally had them installed on on a Tele-bass style Schecter neck.

Here is the most info I could find on these: Grover Tuners "Wavy Titans"

So how about $50 shipped? Or feel free to make an offer -- cash or trade.

These are awesome! Any idea if they're reversible? I'm on the lookout for a set of 2+2 tuners. If these are reversible, I'll take them!

Not really sure. Looking at them, it seems like you could take them apart and flip the tuning keys around to the other side, since everything is symmetrical on them. I hesitate to do it, however, because due to my own ineptness, whenever I take something apart, I usually have a hard time putting it back together! I'm happy to provide more info or photos -- anything short of having to take them apart!

As far as trades, I don't have anything particular in mind, but feel free to make an offer.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hmm. I've Googled around and found a few references to Titans being reversible. But Grover's website doesn't say for sure. Visually, they look as though they might be.

Tell you what - I'll buy them, and in case they're not reversible, I can just re-list them.
