FS/FT Washburn Parts: Body, neck, pickups; + other bass neck

Here I have most of a project bass which is almost complete except for a few things. Everything comes from a Washburn XB-102 from the Bantam Series basses. I also have the version of this bass without the bridge pickup and it's a great playing bass for how inexpensive it was. I just play Fender (and copy) style basses now so it's time to find this project a new home.

The body is in pretty good shape. It is a bit worn, with some paint chips mostly around the lower horn on the inside, some near the input jack and at the top by the forearm cutout. Nothing too extreme and no major chunks of the body are missing. I'm not sure what wood they used on these, but it is pretty light weight and has a nice looking (I believe photo) quilted top look. The back has some buckle rash, as this bass has seen a bit of use but has a lot of life left in it yet! I'll give it a good buffing before I ship it out. $40 shipped for just the body.

The neck is in overall good shape. The frets show a bit of wear but definitely have some life left. There's a small chip on the headstock near the edge. Truss rod adjusts easily and works great. I gave it a good cleaning and conditioning so the board looks really good now. The back has a nice semi-gloss finish and feels good. $40 shipped for the neck. The nut is included as well as the truss rod cover plate.

The pickups are a P/J set. I'd put them close to SX/Squier quality. They work fine and sound balanced well with each other. $15 shipped for the pair.

Wiring harness is similar to a P bass except that it has a 3 way switch (the switch works but the shaft is broken off). There is one volume and one tone control which are in working condition but are missing the nuts to fasten them to the body. Also included is the output jack with the chrome football style plate. The plate is a little worn but it does the job. $10 shipped for the harness.

Washburn neck plate with plastic pad and neck screws. Has some scratches but it still serviceable. $5 shipped, or free if you buy the neck as well.

You can also buy all of it for $85 shipped, and I'll throw in the bridge which is a little nasty but can probably be used, as well as the tuners, 2 of which will need to be replaced but the other 2 work ok.These items I don't see much value in selling separately but will include if anybody wants them with another item. I'll also send a set of strings with it if you buy the whole package! All you'd need is probably a new bridge and some better tuners, I'd probably suggest these Tuners from Rondo Music. (same style as what it came with, but verify the dimensions)

Also available that I just found in a closet is a Johnson bass neck. It's from a Jazz style bass I believe, and is 2.5" at the heel so it should fit in a Fender style pocket. It's in pretty good shape overall, with a new dings and what not from normal wear and tear. Nothing extreme though. Truss rod seems to adjust fine. Fretboard looks a little dry so I'll give it a good cleaning and conditioning.

it comes with the tuners, string tree, neck plate, and neck screws. $45 shipped

PM me with any questions, requests for more pictures, etc.
