Edit: SOLD!

Bought this new for $120. Wired it in my test bass and decided on a different pickup. So now it's yours for $100 shipped CONUS. Basically brand new, ony had it wired in there for a day.

Here's the info from G&L:

Can I ask what bass you had it in and what you didn't like about it? I was thinking about getting a pair of these for a project of my own because I like them so much in my L-2000.

Sure - I was planning on a custom jazz-build with Warmoth and Allparts, etc. As a testbed, I have a '75 SX that I routed out to try a bunch of pickups. The MFD sounded as expected, but I decided on going with a MM style pickup mostly because of the ability to swap out pickups due to the common shape and plethora of aftermarket manufacturers.

... I also have a SD Basslines SMB-4D that might be going to the block soon as well...

Hope that helps,

-Mike

Just to verify - by 'common shape' are you referring to the little tabs on the MM pickups where the mounting screws go, as opposed to the almost perfectly rectangular shape of the G&L?

Yep. Nordstrand, Basslines, etc., will all fit the same MM route.

Edit: I'm sure youall know this, but just to avoid confusion, the G&L pickup does not fit a MM route.
