Does it have any kind of headstock protection? Is there a strap inside to keep the neck steady? Any bottom pin protection?

No strap pin protection. There are pads for the headstock and bridge. This is a great bag for getting from the car to the gig. Good protection and lots of storage space. It has 20mm padding. It won't protect your bass if you drop an amp on it!
