Just want to remind everyone not to soak these decals! A dip will do the trick!

I got it right on my second try, and that's why I bought 2 decals xD
Anyways, these decals are sweet. I'm a happy customer!

I just want to know, is there some kind of material that needs to go on the headstock to secure these decals? Some kind of laminate or something?

I had one one a mighty might neck with no laminate. the decal itself has some adhesive to it. If you want it to look pro though, you'll probably want to clear coat it (which I've never done).

It's easy - although repetitious.

First, clear coat and then apply decal, then several more clear coats.

Sand with 1000# wet/dry paper.

Reapply a few more coats of clear.

Sand with 1400# wet/dry.
Flood coat one last time with head dead-level and let it dry.

Wax and buff by hand.

Another example:::

Patience and wet/dry sandpaper.

Wow - that is super classy!

That A-string tuner needs a little looking at though.
