Up for sale is a pair of Jazz Bass pickups from my Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. I’m the original owner of the bass that they came from and I had literally owned the bass for about a week before I swapped these pups for a set of SD Antiquity II’s (4 years in and I still can’t get over how GOOD the SD’s sound!!!).
These pups are virtually brand new and have never been gigged, but please be advised that the neck and bridge are of different sizes. I believe that these are OEM on the American Vintage series as well (please correct me if I’m wrong about that).
I didn’t swap these pickups out because I thought they were lacking. I swapped them because I heard a Geddy with the SD’d and realized that THAT was the J-Bass tone I heard in my head! Nice sound all-around, especially for stock pups.
Sorry, but no trades. I’m selling these and some other odds and ends I no longer use to help pay for a new P-Bass I’ll be getting in the near future.
