This was my second bass and the first I ever built. It was once my favorite bass, but I simply never play it anymore. For some reason, I always seem to come back to my P-bass.

I said "built" but it's actually semi-built. I made the body -- chambered alder with a sitka spruce top -- but the neck is a modified SX. Also included is the white pearloid pickguard. The neck heel isn't quite as rounded as the neck pocket, but it still fits well, and once the pickguard is on, you can't really tell. Also, it probably needs to be refinished. The current finish is fine except you can see the top's glue seam through it. A little more fine sanding and buffing might be all it needs.

Asking $150, shipped.

For an additional $100, I'll also include the set of DiMarzio UltraJazz pickups I had installed, as well as the loaded and wired control plate.

As it was before disassembly (shows current color)...

It seems you have to be a member to view the photos.

Nope. Not a chance. Besides, it's already been sold. Heading your way, Mitch!

That's pretty much the best looking $150 bass in the known universe.

Congrats Mitch !

Oh, and Teej.... CONGRATS ON THE ENGAGEMENT !
