FS - Jbass neck w/black blocks/binding

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

A killer J-bass size neck with light birds and flame

Professionally finished in the Warmoth paint shop with a clear satin finish, and includes a Warmoth installed corian nut.

I have installed threaded steel inserts into the heel (a $100 aftermarket upgrade), and will include a set of stainless mounting screws.

The neck has less than 10 hours of playing time on it, and is in pristine condition. I had a set of Hipshot Ultralights installed on it, so the mounting alignment holes are already drilled if you were to use the same - if you use a set of Fender style tuners you will never see these.

This was originally installed on a personal bass I kept in my shop for clients to reference when they were choosing a neck. I have disassembled this bass since I was building my own necks before closing shop last year, and this Warmoth reference is no longer needed. The wear marks you see on the frets are only in the finish and not in the fretwire - I never needed to level the frets on this one, and never got around to cleaning the finish off of the fret wires

This neck would run you $497US + tax/shipping today if you snag one from the Warmoth Showcase, and then you'd spend another $100 for the threaded insert upgrade. I'd like to get $350 for this nearly unplayed neck, shipped anywhere within the US. For shipping outside the US, please drop me a PM so I can get you a custom quote on the difference above what shipping in the US would cost.

all the best,

R

if someone was interested, I could add/install a set of new black Ultralights with clover keys for an added $75. these tuners are currently unopened in their original wrappers (you would get 4 of the 5 tuners shown)

if you take this option, I will swap out the chrome string retainer for a black one at no added cost

all the best,

R

possibly, but it would depend on what it is (I'm not suffering from GAS at the moment)

all the best,

yes, the threaded inserts are installed in the identical centerpoint of where the screw holes would be. and yes, this neck was previously installed on a Warmoth body

all the best,

R

time for a bump-a-roni

anyone have a reasonable offer? it's a shame to let this killer neck sit idle in a box

all the best,

R

Just FYI... Rodent is in the middle of a house move right now. So he may not see anything for a couple days or through the weekend.

hey guys - as stflbn noted ... I've been tossing all my junk into a new apartment and cleaning the old one the past couple of days, and just finished within the past hour.

I'll get to your PM's on Sat (tomorrow) in order. apologies for the delayed response, and sincere appreciation for your understanding!

all the best,

R

p.s. with all of this I also have to give a huge nod of appreciation to ClearWire internet services for the super ease of unplugging everything, jamming it in a box, moving it across town, plugging it in, and whamola! instant internet service again!! (Comcast would have been $15 more a month and taken two weeks to arrive for a simple 'flip the switch on' activity)
