FS -John East J-Retro 01 Preamp

Picked this up last week. Dropped it in my J bass in less than 5 minutes. Sounds great and does it's thing really well, however, just not my flavor.

$235 shipped in Lower 48. Paypal accepted.

Might consider a Mono Dual Bag for trade.

How would you describe the 'flavor'?

It's the J on 'roids thing which I was expecting. I just like what I'm getting from my ToneHammer pedal more so I'm staying with that.

The mid control is really nice on J-Retro. Para EQ control over a sweepable mid freq.

Nice preamp. You shouldn't have it for long.

I was ready to trade my American Jazz Standard Five string for different. The guys at the Bass place talked me into this preamp and Bartolini pickups. It made it a whole different animal. The B string sounds great now. I agree I like the Mid control.

Good luck!
